Window Depot did an excellent job. From salesperson to installation, everyone was very professional and highly competent at getting the job done. I highly recommend them!

Window Depot stands out by its caring attitude, diligent approach, and transparent pricing. We had 12 windows replaced, full frame, in two days. We have been well informed at every step, from measurement, to ordering, to picking installation day. The installers are very experienced, and everything went exactly as planned. Every window fitted, no damage on the exterior or interior of the house. There was a warning that we may have to touch up paint around the interior trim, but the guys were so careful that there was only one tiny spot to touch up. Windows are good quality, we quickly noticed the difference in sense of keeping warm air in and dampening direct sunlight. The inside glass is warmer to touch than on our old windows (we have some left), and that is only double pane, not triple pane, which should be even better. We tried working with two other companies, and did not proceed with one due to pricing and another due to incorrect window ordering. After thorough comparison we turned to Window Depot, and have no regrets.

The whole experience with Window Depot was Awesome… the ProVia windows are superb. I can’t say enough about the installation process fast efficient, too-notch quality of work. Job site was left spotless by the guys. If I had it to do all over I would have picked Window Depot sooner. No complaints here what so ever. Very Satiafied customer!!!

We just finished up our third window/door project with Window Depot. We are THRILLED with our new front entry doors and sidelights. When you plan a project with Window Depot from the sale to the install everything goes like clockwork. Plus the team is really fun to work with as they all know their products inside and out. Our team lead Rob arrived with the crew; secured the site, checked on our pets, sealed off the area so mess wouldn't enter the rest of the house and executed a flawless install with full clean-up and haul away. It was a complicated removal of a 1960's jerry rigged sidelight treatment and custom carved double entry doors-with age cracks- that leaked heat and cool air depending on seasons. The new entryway is no longer drafty and cold as our doors and sidelights have terrific insulation and a tight seal. They are the finishing touch to our remodel. Previous Window Depot projects included a window wall of sliders and two new custom window installs. This team is THE BEST to work with and everything is guaranteed 100%. Can't recommend highly enough!

Window Depot did an amazing job replacing the windows on my 1950s-era home. Everyone I spoke with at the company was professional and helpful. Mike, the sales rep, was very down-to-Earth and quoted a price that was much lower than the other companies I spoke with; DeNika in the office kept me updated about the status of my job; and Rob and AJ, the installers, were timely, efficient, and very careful with the quality of their workmanship and cleanliness of the job when they were finished. When Mike told me that they were scheduling jobs several months out, I was worried— but Window Depot is awesome, and definitely worth waiting for.

We had a great experience in Charlottesville with Windows Depot Richmond VA. They installed 17 windows and one door, all in three days. That included wrapping the external window frames with aluminum facing. Our salesman Mike and installers Gene, Mike, and Ryan were all experienced, masterful, and very customer friendly. These windows really make a difference and the ease of the whole process was, wonderfully, a great gift. Honestly, I don’t know how another business and crew could be better than this one.

Excellent company to work with from sales and information to installation and warranty. I had 3 exterior doors plus storm door installed on a 1920 bungalow. These were incredibly tricky to install and the team did it masterfully! Great quality and such an upgrade from old doors. We love the customer service at the Window Depot in Charlottesville! From the consultant to the install team, everyone is amazing and friendly. They have even stood by their work! We had them replace 51 windows at the office on Pantops. The sales people, the staff and the installers are all amazing. Communication is excellent. They show up on time and never stop working from the minute they get there until they are finished for the day. They clean up each day. Price is excellent. Quality is excellent. Highly recommend. Would give them 10 stars if possible. They also finished earlier than planned!

I was kept up to date on every stage of the process. The whole process was outstanding, starting with Mike explaining all the aspects of the windows I was going to purchase, to the inhouse staff who kept me informed of when the windows arrived and scheduling, to the installers were professional and kept me informed of what their schedule would be for the 2 days of installation. Truly a great customer service experience.

Had windows and doors installed by window depot. It was a positive experience right from the start, from when the Salesman came out to measure and sell the windows and doors, to the numerous questions before during and after the salesman was here, and to the installers who were prompt, courteous and professional. They cleaned up and removed all old material. Address all minor issues before they left and explained how everything worked. And the best part the dogs loved all the workers and the workers love the dogs. I would use this company again and will definitely refer them to others that need windows or doors.

Anyone in the Charlottesville area would be foolish not to use Window Depot to replace their windows. We had Window Depot replace every window in our home aand also our front foor and storm door. The workmanship was superb. Our crew, Rob and his men, , were meticulous; were very.attentive to us and made sure we understood what needed to be done, and were great to work with. My wife and I cannot think of one thing negative to say about our experience with Window Depot. As for value, we had an estimate from another window company that advertises extensively on C-Ville television and their price quote for just replacing 4 windows was outrageous. We replaced all our windows in our house and the two doors for not much more than thw quote for just 4 windows from this other company. Window dpot: great value; great customer service; and great people.

Window Depot of Charlottesville exceeded expectations on all fronts, from sales and coordination over appointments to installation. They took on a project that two other companies refused because of the aluminum siding on the outside of the house. Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the windows and installation. They beat Lowes' price by half.

The install guys were great. Also, the sales office kept us posted throughout the process. Would recommend to everyone.

The total project from initial contact with the home office in Charlottesville to the non threatening visit from Mike, the sales rep., was easy and informative at every turn.

The estimate/final bid process was lengthier than it should have been, but everything else was A+: the communication throughout the process, the installation crew, and the follow-up. We had two minor issues that needed an additional visit, and they had someone on site within 2 hours of flagging the problems. Impressive!

We had an excellent experience with Window Depot. Mike the salesperson gave us an in-depth presentation on the types of windows they vend, and bid for the replacement of one window and all windows. The prices were reasonable. Due to the COVID epidemic, we decided only to replace our large damaged living room window. However, we will be coming back to WD to replace the remaining windows next year once COVID has passed. The company delivered our new window in the promised time frame and installers did a flawless job of installing. Be sure to consider this firm if you are in the market for new windows!

Window Depot of Charlottesville installed a window to replace a bay window that had rotted. Everyone from the office staff, sales rep and installation crew was awesome. If I had questions before the installation I got a quick response. Jarrod and his installation crew were so nice. They did a wonderful job and answered any questions I had. They cleaned up before they left. He even called to let me know they were on their way the day of the install. I am very impressed with them and would use them again. I highly recommend them.

The 25-year-old home I moved into in July was in desperate need of new windows. In two days, Rob installed 10 windows that transformed my home. I love them! They look outstanding, and I couldn't be happier.

No major complaints. The only reason I'm not rating 5 stars is it wasn't a "perfect" experience, but it was much better than expected considering how hard it is to find people and companies that do good work and communicate. I was braced for far more issues than we had. It took a very long time after order to get the windows, but we were fine with that since we didn't want the install happening in the dead of winter anyway. There was one trim piece that didn't come with the package that had to be custom ordered and that took a couple weeks to get finished but it wasn't a big deal. The salesman, Mike was very helpful in presenting the product options and was available through the process if we needed anything he could help with. DeNika in the office did a good job keeping me informed and scheduling appointments. The field crew was outstanding. Melvin is a master glazier on the caulking! The whole crew was professional, polite and good at what they do, and I think we had both of their crews because we were replacing all of the windows on a two story house. They were also done in really good time, so they are doing a bang up job for the owners. They worked very hard, no slacking at all. The product is good for the value. A few little quirks, most of which were able to be adjusted by Melvin and he showed me how to even make some of my own adjustments. The windows gobble up some space so they have a smaller field of vision than what they replaced and the window blinds had to be reinstalled so they stick out of the opening a bit because the new windows stick so much farther in to the opening than the old. Any spring loaded curtain rods could no longer be used because of this. The bottom of the screens are visible when they are slid all the way up. A little nitpicky but not the best look. We took almost all of the screens out anyway, both for the view but also we only open windows at certain times of the year and then its only certain windows. So the fact that some of the screens dont "dock" like they are supposed to in the up position isn't a problem generally. There was nothing Melvin could do with a few of them, it's a manufacturing flaw, vinyl welds that were built up a little too much. Not a deal breaker. They are easy to clean although we cant seem to get little circles off the glass on some of them. Looks to me from suction cups. Its not super visible though. I haven't tried a solvent yet. We love that we chose to not have the grids in the glass. The new bay window is now like a "window to the world"! Or at least the forest in our case... We, without question, recommend Window Depot of Charlottesville and would use them again ourselves AND buy the product again.

Just from photos, the team diagnosed the problem. Today, Sam the technician arrived and replaced a small part. He had the shade back to normal in less than five minutes! Frank had several window options to choose from, all of which were good options. He helped us tailor the 14 window replacement to our needs. We decided to go with triple pane Vynal windows 3. Frank’s prices were competitive and even significantly lower than the other two companies interviewed. 4. There was no pressure from Frank to buy - no rushing us to make a snap decision. 5. Fixing rotted out wood sills before wrapping them was done for a nominal fee, and done well. 6. The crew was seasoned, polite, and efficient. 7. The windows were actually installed ahead of schedule - yay! 8. Company follow up/support was superb from the time the windows were ordered and after installation. 9. Wow, the triple pane windows really do block the sound! (we live off a road, and the difference from single pane to triple pane is significant).10. The house holds the heat much better.
